In 1979 |
Mr. Gensho (founder) started producing & selling of indigo dyed cotton products (especially 'SAMUE') - Kimono-styled working wears (traditionally worn by zen monks) at Ashiya( Kobe), Japan.With the help of Mr. Ei Rokusuke (Celebrated Japanese poet/composer/talker), life-long friend of Gensho, he has successfully founded the base with wider sales net-works. |

Gensho won a prize ≪Osaka Prefectural Governor Prize≫for his devotion and achievement in reproducing traditional Edo Motifs with indigo dyeing techniques |
